And how's your Summer going ? Hope you are getting some good riding in. I thought it was about time to send off a newsletter. Jan And I spent the month of July going to Alaska and back. It was the trip of a lifetime that we had always wanted to take. The scenery was majestic and unforgettable. If you ever get a chance, do it.
First we want to extend out sympathy to our President for the loss of his mother. Our thought and prayers are with Doug and his family at this time of sorrow.
Second, a few weeks ago, several members of our Chapter attended the International Convention in Danville PA. Not much news as a result of the International Corporation meeting. Just a lot of nice rides and friendship. As usual, we ate very good. Next years Convention will be in Rutland Vermont hosted by Chapter # 14. The 2008 Convention will be hosted in the Youngstown area by Chapter # 3, & the 2009 Convention is scheduled for Deadwood, South Dakota hosted by Chapter # 38.

Then there is the Annual Mark Laccheo Memorial Ride that we always have had representation at. The date is September 24th 2006 at Camp Ho Mita Koda at 14040 Auburn Rd. in Newsbury. This benefits the Camper ship for Needy Diabetic Children hosted by the Blue Knights Chapter XV of Ohio. Registration is at 10:00 AM, so lets meet at the McDonalds at 1-90 and Rt # 44 at 10:30 AM. It's only 1/2. an hour down the road so we will have plenty of time to get there when the first bike leaves at Noon.
As of now, Lets plan on having a meeting of the Chapter on October 1st at the Favored Flavors Restaurant at 1945 Mentor Ave in Painesville Twp. They have a nice private dinning room and the prices are really reasonable. How about 4:00 PM. This could change and I shall let you know if it does.
The Craft goes back to work in a few weeks. When was the last time you attended you Lodge? Maybe this would be a good way to start your Masonic year. Your Lodge needs you.
